The healing screw is an essential component in the restoration phase of the In-Kone® NR implant system as it prepares the prosthetic seating for the final component (diameter 3.4 mm). It allows tension-free insertion of the final component in the mucosa.
The composition of product references is structured so as to be able to directly associate healing screw formats with the corresponding final component formats.

Healing screws and cover screws are single use. They are delivered separately from the implant pack and are non-sterile.
It is advised that the screws are screwed in manually using a 1.2 mm hexagonal screwdriver.
If using a torque system, the maximum recommended torque is 10 N-cm.
