Set of depth stops and holder

  • The depth stops included in the EVL® surgery kit can be used with the cylindrical drills.
  • The depth stops clip directly onto the intermediate drills of the surgical kit, and the engraving indicates implant length. There are depth stops for the following depths: 7, 8, 10 and 12. For 14 mm long implants, the intermediate drills are used without a depth stop. The DFCL-INIT initial drills are not compatible with BCL depth stops.
  • The 3 optional depth stops can be used with tapered drills in the KONIK kit or with the final drills delivered with every EVL® implant.
  • The optional depth stops clip directly onto the tapered drills and the engraving indicates the EVL® implant diameter regardless of length.

DRILLING DEPTH STOPS

The drilling depth stops presented in the EVL® surgery kit provide reassurance during drilling operations. Where the bony crest is irregular, you may want to consider controlling the length of the drill shaft.

EVL® SURGERY

The depth stops included in the EVL® surgery kit come in two diameters:

  • for Ø 2.2 mm drills
  • for Ø 2.8 and Ø 3.5 mm drills, available in pairs so as to avoid having to remove the stop on the Ø 2.8 drill and install it on the Ø 3.5 mm drill.
